AC & DUCT CLEANING
Payson & Scottsdale, Arizona
Your HVAC & duct system is a critical component of your property. It’s responsible for keeping the air inside your home comfortable and does this by distributing cooled or heated air through a duct system. But what happens when those ducts get dirty, and they are full of dust, allergens, and other debris?

When your air ducts are dirty, one of the first things you may notice is an increase in allergy symptoms when your system is running. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that when air is moving through your ducts, it picks up and transports dust and other allergens throughout your home! Your HVAC system may also become less efficient over time.

At Sunshine Restoration, we know how important it is to have a clean and healthy home. We offer our customers superior duct cleaning services if you are considering air duct cleaning and want it done right, give us a call!

Air Duct Cleaning Methods Explained
BRINING YOUR HOME BACK TO BEAUTIFUL
When we began offering duct cleaning services, we wanted to make sure that we were providing the very best service for our customers. We spent many years researching duct cleaning and studying the various methods and machinery available for cleaning AC ducts.

During our research, we found there are two primary methods of duct cleaning being offered today. We offer our customers source removal, or push-pull, duct cleaning, and found that this method is far more effective at removing dust and other contaminants from your ducts than the alternative, rotary brush cleaning.
Source Removal (Push-Pull)
This method places the entire air conditioning system under a negative pressure using a large, specially-designed HEPA vacuum. Once the air conditioning ducts are placed under negative pressure, rotating brushes or compressed air is used to dislodge and push dust and contaminates one duct at a time through your entire air conditioning system to the HEPA vacuum. As the soils are released, they are pulled toward the vacuum for collection.
Rotary Brush
Rotary brush cleaning utilizes a large vacuum hose attached with a rotating brush on the end. The rotating brush is fed through the ducts. As the brush spins and loosens the soils in your ducts, the vacuum hose collects the dust. If you want truly clean ducts, it’s important to note that this method can result in uneven cleaning and it is not uncommon for residue to be left behind after cleaning.
If you are researching duct cleaning companies, be sure to ask them about the specific method of duct cleaning they use, as it does make a significant difference in the quality of the results. When duct cleaning is done right, it can improve your indoor air quality and at Sunshine Restoration, we don’t do something unless we can do it right!
DRYER VENT CLEANING
A clean dryer vent ensures your dryer runs efficiently and protects your home from a fire. Over time, your dryer vent collects lint and debris flowing from your dryer to the vent outside your home. When enough lint builds up in your vent, air flow is decreased, lint accumulation accelerates, and the risk of fire goes up.

Protect both your home and your dryer from unnecessary damage with regular dryer vent cleaning. At Sunshine Restoration, we’ll clear out your dryer vent, removing any accumulated lint. Your dryer will run more efficiently and you can have peace of mind knowing your dryer vent is clean. Call us today!
